The Rainbow Bridge spans the Zhengzhou North Ring Expressway. The bridge's demolition and the project's construction both take place at the same time. It is planned as a four-span, eight-lane, two-way, simply supported steel tube concrete truss bridge with dimensions of 122+62+62+122m. Additionally, it completely connects the North Third Ring Viaduct Beijing Guangzhou Viaduct from the east, south, and north directions in all four directions.
The First Company of China Railway Bridge Bureau and HL-Kattor undertook this project. They were in charge of the vertical and horizontal movement, jacking, and construction of the steel truss arch of the Zhengzhou Rainbow Bridge, which primarily involved the lifting and lowering of beams, the transverse movement, and the dismantling of two 62-meter steel truss arches on the east and west sides of the midspan.
The equipment supplied by HL-Kattor in this project includes:
40 sets of 250t synchronous lifting system
20 sets One system controlling two hydraulic pump stations
66 sets of PLC
4O sets of 1000t Vertical Jacks
