Yangtze River at Wuxue is 1403 meters long, and the main span is 808 meters. The steel cofferdam weighs 3600 tons in total. The hydraulic system was used to raise and lower the first segment after it had been erected on the platform. Eight lifting lofting sites were set up by Hl-Kattor, each with two sets of 350 ton hydraulic raising and lowering systems. For the lowering and placing of cofferdams, a total of 16 sets of 350T Intelligent lifting and lowering hydraulic systems were employed.
